Work Experience

During my studies, I gained valuable hands-on experience through several impactful internship programs. At PT. Dharma Polimetal Tbk, I was involved in automating and centralizing the pipe bending machine process by integrating PLC systems with robotic loaders, which significantly improved production efficiency. I also implemented Kaizen practices such as 5S and Total Productive Maintenance principles. Meanwhile, at President University, I worked as a Research Assistant, exploring the use of Genetic Algorithms to solve puzzle-based problems using Python, leading to a scientific publication.

Internship Experiences
  • PT Dharma Polimetal - Maintenance Electrical

During my internship at PT Dharma Polimetal, I worked on automating the pipe-bending process in the muffler production line to reduce manual labor and improve efficiency. I implemented system improvements through PLC/HMI, stabilized pneumatic performance, and enhanced safety features. I also learned and applied Kaizen practices such as Genba, 5S, and QCC, along with the 7 pillars of Total Productive Maintenance, to support sustainable maintenance operations.

  • President University - Research Assistant

As a Research Assistant at President University, I was involved in a project focused on applying Genetic Algorithms (GA) to solve puzzle-based computational problems. My responsibilities included conducting literature reviews, analyzing algorithmic structures, and evaluating GA parameters across different types of puzzle games such as Sudoku, Tetris, and Jigsaw. This research culminated in the publication of a scientific journal titled “Using Genetic Algorithm to Solve Puzzle Games: A Review”, where we compared 14 selected studies and discussed their effectiveness based on representation models, operators, and performance metrics. This experience sharpened my analytical thinking, research methodology, and technical writing skills.
